Die Sektor joins WTII
May 02, 2013

Atlanta's dark electro act, Die Sektor have signed a North American deal with Chicago based WTII Records, LLC. Founded in 2004, Die Sektor was formed as an outlet for experimenting with dark aggressive electronic music. They released their debut album, To Be Fed Upon, in 2006 on the German industrial label Noittek. The album received rave reviews and spent several weeks on top of the German DAC charts. The follow up album, Applied Structure In a Void, was released in 2011 and raised the bar as far as quality and songwriting with regard to industrial music. While writing Applied Structure in a Void, the band set out to buck current dark electronic trends and came up with a sound that is uniquely Die Sektor. In 2012 their latest album, The Final Electro Solution, was released and the band continued their progression and experimentation. The end result was one of their most successful releases to date. In the fall of 2012 Die Sektor toured the US to support this release and has built a solid fan base across the country.

2013 finds Die Sektor putting the final touches on a new studio album titled '(-) existence '. Die Sektor is preparing to unleash '(-) existence, claiming it to be their most accessible, experimental, darkest, emotional and complex work yet. (-) existence is a true concept album that follows the protagonist down a path of internal division and self-destruction. Look for Die Sektor to bring their live show to your city in 2013 and prepare to enter the void.
