Trigger 10d was conceived and formed in the late 90's and was originally comprised of Alicia Sotelo (vocals and lyrics) George Fulton (programming/bass guitar), and Sam Marotta (programming.) The trio spent their first few years working hard on their debut release, The Difference Is A Boy which was released in 2003. Years of electronic manipulations and experimentation led to an album that was a nice blend of trip hop, pop, darkwave and noise.

In addition to the album release, 2003 saw the live debut of Trigger 10d and the addition of a new member, Ben Marotta, on guitars. After several shows across the midwest, the band decided to assemble a collection of remixes from The Difference is a Boy and release a companion EP. But the Girls the Same was released in 2004 and featured a new track, a video for the song "Most People Don't Forget" directed by indie film director, John Covert (Shut-eye) and remixes from Sister Machine Gun, Hungry Lucy, Monstrum Sepsis and more.

2007 saw the re-emergence of Trigger 10d with a new drummer, John Francimore, and several live shows. The band returned with an arsenal of new songs and a few reworking's of their favorites songs from their debut. The new tracks are edgier than previous works and their new direction can be classified as more electronic indie rock. In 2008, Trigger 10d began work on a new self titled album and would continue until completion in the fall of 2009.

Now in 2010, we will see the release of Trigger 10d, the long awaited follow-up to the Difference is a Boy and the release of a digital single, A-list.

Trigger 10d's "Most People Don't Forget" is the title track from John Covert's film Shut-Eye to be released on DVD in March of 2010. Click the link below to view the trailer.
